Do you accept childcare vouchers?
Unfortunately, I am unable to accept these.
Will my child need any equipment?
No equipment is required unless your child is studying GCSE or A Level Maths then they will need a scientific calculator that they are competent with.
How will we receive the work if lessons are online?
All relevant work will be emailed 2-5 days before the lesson. Ideally this should be printed.
Will my child be set homework?
Yes, homework will be set on a weekly basis.
Is tutoring term time only?
No, I tutor all year round as certain periods like the summer holidays are an important preparation period for 11+ exams.
What happens if we need to cancel a lesson?
Please give as much notice as possible as payment is still required if you cancel on the day. Exceptional circumstances will be taken into account. Persistent cancellation may result in termination of your lessons.
How often is tutoring required?
This is determined by each child and their requirements. Usually a weekly, one, hour lesson is recommended. I am not able to offer lessons less than an hour or bi-weekly lessons.
